Our 725-acre West Lafayette-based park located just north of Purdue University’s main campus is home to more than 160 companies, of which nearly 100 are technology-related and comprise the largest cluster of these kinds of businesses in the state. Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette is the state’s first designated certified technology park, and its business acceleration model has received state and national recognition. The park boasts 725 acres; 52 buildings; 162 companies; more than 3,100 employees; and an average wage for start-up companies of $53,713 (as of 11/2007).

A partnership between Purdue University, Purdue Research Foundation and the City of West Lafayette resulted in the newest phase of research park, where nine commercial lots are available for purchase or land lease by high-tech firms.
