WHAT YOU WILL GAIN FROM THIS EXPERIENCE
Goal:  The goal of the Entrepreneurship Academy is to be a provider of innovative Math, Science and Technology-based business and life skills that empower young people with new, unique opportunities and real-world experiences.

Entrepreneurial Experiences:  Working in Startup teams of five, you and your team will have the opportunity to choose from five high-tech case studies.  Startup Teams will also be provided with instruction and necessary materials to assist them in the successful completion of their executive summary and elevator pitch.

Entrepreneurs:
High-tech entrepreneurs representing a variety of high-tech backgrounds, expertise and products will be mentoring Startup teams throughout the week.  You will also be exposed to guest presenters who will share their stories of success and lessons learned.

Entrepreneurial Tours:
Attendees will tour the Purdue Research Park and Discovery Park.  More than 140 high-tech companies call the Purdue Research Park home. Approximately 90 of these firms are technology-related, creating the greatest cluster of these types of ventures in the state of Indiana. During the tours students will be able to experience first-hand high-tech companies and observe entrepreneurs in action.  They will also have the opportunity to meet executive leaders.

MEDICAL CARE AND INSURANCE
Medical needs will be administered through the Purdue University Student Health Center, located close to Mackey Arena.  All attendees are covered by a blanket insurance policy covering injuries sustained at the academy, up to a maximum of $5,000.  Coverage does not extent to preexisting conditions.
